Leadership CampWe recently organised a residential Leadership Training Camp for Mountain Healthcare employees. This 2-day event was designed to develop leadership skills across our current and future leaders.

PTSD ConferenceOur PTSD Custody Pathways conference was a huge success, with presentations made by Alcoholics Anonymous, Liaison & Diversion, PTSD and Trauma Psychotherapy, and DrugFam.

Emergency ScenariosOur recent Emergency Scenario Day offered a great opportunity for our West Midlands' HCPs to receive valuable theoretical training and the opportunity to be assessed when treating actors in emergency scenarios. All employees passed, with some receiving credits!

MQS 'Wave 1'Following our successful application to be one for the Lime Culture/MSP 'Wave 1' sites for the Male Quality Standards Programme, our Sussex SARC has been working closely with them to evidence our current work. Next step is a site visit.

Nottinghamshire SARCWe were recently awarded the contract for Nottinghamshire Sexual Assault Referral Services. The transition has been very smooth, with everyone doing their part to make the changeover a success. The existing SARC staff are lovely and the new starters are doing really well!

Kent CSE WeekKent have recently been involved in lots of activities with the Police & Health for Child Sexual Exploitation week. They covered four stands across the county, representing the Kent SARC and offering support and information to the public. The SARC staff recieved lots of positive feedback - what a success!

QI ProjectsFollowing the success of last year’s Mountain Healthcare Ltd Quality Improvement Project Awards, we were excited to announce that we are running the competition again this year! Submissions are due on 30th September 2018. All ideas are incorporated into our future business development plans.

Custody CPD EventWe recently held our 'Discover Custody Healthcare' CPD event, where a number of professionals from varying backgrounds received the opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the care provided in custody, and the importance of ensuring individuals are fit to detain.
