Claire Morrisey
Claire is the Director of Education and Clinical Practice for Mountain Healthcare, having joined the team on the first day contract in Thames Valley Police back in 2015. Claire joined MHL on return from a deployment with the British Army to Afghanistan, working in the Emergency Department at Camp Bastion. She has worked in a wide range of nursing specialties during her nursing career, but primarily within the Emergency Department and she has a particular interest in trauma. Claire believes passionately in learning, and the importance of solid evidence based practice. She qualified and taught as an ALS instructor for the Resuscitation Council, and as a BATLS instructor for the military. Claire is also a national EMSB burns coordinator.
Michael Taylor
Michael qualified as a registered nurse, with first class honours, in 1999. In the first half of his career Michael specialised in Accident & Emergency nursing, before moving to the custody setting. He has been working as a Forensic Practitioner for over ten years. Michael is a qualified Advanced Life Support instructor with the Resuscitation Council. Michael is the Clinical Lead for Education and is currently studying for his Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.
Becky Jeavons
Becky qualified as a nurse in 2008. Before joining Mountain Healthcare, Becky had spent her career providing acute healthcare within the Emergency Department. She has a particular interest in resuscitation skills and managing the acutely unwell adult and child. Becky often worked as an autonomous Emergency Nurse Practitioner, after complete the course at Wolverhampton University. She is a qualified Advanced Life Support instructor, and complete the Generic Instructor Course at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
